At Obmac Field Services Ltd we provides a ‘one-stop-shop’ for engineering, repair and overhaul of all boiler & heat exchanger types including shell and tube, plate, extended surface and regenerative.

We can undertake the maintenance of all types and makes of heat exchangers, with services from in-house engineering and re-design through to mechanical, welding and boiler-making, cleaning, tube or plate replacement, re-gasketing and testing.

Obmac Field Services Ltd Lube oil flushing services is a pre-commissioning procedure designed to flush the lube oil lines of a gas/steam turbine to the manufacturer’s guidelines. We use the manufacturer’s oil specification for the procedures.

Our techniques utilizes a high velocity pump, filter canister, that uses 5 micron filters, oil cooler, and an oil heater. Each bearing journal is bypassed and has a strainer placed in the jumper for individual flow path testing. Initially the oil reservoir is hand cleaned, filled with manufacturers specified oil, then circulated using the flush pump through the filters until it meets the cleanliness requirement. Then each journal bearing is flushed to the same degree of cleanliness.

OBMAC provides effective predictive oil analysis service based on condition monitoring through used oil analysis to determine both machine condition and lubricant condition in a timely manner. Our work is overseen by our on-site supervisors and completed by our
certified technicians using specialized equipment and proven techniques to achieve the
required level of accuracy.

OBMAC uses an industrial particle counter for oil analysis, and has third party verification of oil samples to meet any oil specification.
